Warby Parker | The Limited-Edition Field Series Collection

Monday, August 22, 2016

I know summer is almost over, but don't put the sunglasses away just yet! Better yet, pick up a pair of Warby Parker’s newest limited-edition collection, the Field Series.

These stand out sunglasses feature a brand-new multilayered construction; there are three distinct builds in two colors each meaning there’s a pair that everyone will love. And the best part, they’re gorgeous!

Warby Parker Field Series Sunglasses Bonnie in Walnut Tortoise

I seriously love these glasses. They’re both unique and classic, and can be worn with virtually anything. Wearing a LBD for an elegant happy hour, the Bonnie is your go-to. Just like a LBD, the sleek edges are timeless and polished. I would rock the Grapefruit Soda with Riesling, but if you’re a little more adventurous, the Walnut Tortoise with Polished Gold will be perfect.

Warby Parker Field Series Sunglasses Grady in Crystal Aqua

Or maybe you’re enjoying a day on the town. A little sightseeing, trying a new restaurant, and who knows, maybe even a love connection. You’ll want to be seen in the Grady, or better yet, you will be seen in the Grady. The cut out details on these bold frames demand attention, so keep your look simple. A plain white tee and some jeans are always in and will highlight the Grady effortlessly.

Warby Parker Field Series Sunglasses Reed in Jet Black

And finally, the Reed. As someone who has to dress to impress when I work out, these are the perfect sunglasses for a jog or hike, and even a rooftop yoga class (trust me, you need sunglasses for rooftop yoga). The Reed is sporty but streamlined. Go monochromatic with a black lens and frame, or try something a little funky with a green lens and frame. Personally, I think the Reed is the best of both worlds when it comes to the Field Series; a little bit of Bonnie and Grady rolled in one. So if you’re not sure which one to get, go with Reed.

If you want the new Field Series sunglasses, or any Warby Parker glasses, you can go to a store, or if there’s not one near you, buy online.

I actually didn’t realize there were two Warby Parkers in DC (even though I’ve walked by them countless times), but I got to try some of their glasses through the Home Try-On Program. OMG! I’ve tried online glasses before, and they’ve been less than stellar. I generally compromise on quality and often the lenses are very good, but Warby Parker has some amazingly gorgeous and great quality frames. I’ll have a blog post later this week on my experience with the Home Try-On Program, but seriously, you will not go wrong with these glasses. They are amazing!
